Day 1: Marrakech

On the first day of our 7 days tour from Marrakech, we will meet you at the airport. We then pick you up to check into your accommodation. Finally, you will have free time to walk around the city according to your arrival time.

Day 2: Marrakech Guided Tour

You have a full day of sightseeing in Marrakech. There will be a visit to all the tourist attractions in this city. That is to say, our local guide will lead through the old Medina and discover the Koutoubia mosque in the square time of Jamaa El Fna. Also, you visit the architectural style of the Saadian tombs and the magnificent Bahia Palace. The Majorelle Garden is one of the best places to admire the colorful gardens of different flowers. It is designed by the French artist, Jacques Majorelle for almost 40 years. After exploring everything here, you walk through the spicy market and figure our traditional crafts. Day 3: Marrakech to Ouarzazate

Day 4: Ouarzazate- Draa Valley-Merzouga

After breakfast, we start the day of our 7 Days tour from Marrakech via the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Therefore, you will explore the longest River in Morocco called Draa Valley. Further, you enjoy the oasis of the plantation and then have lunch in Agdz village. Secondly, we keep our driving along with other Berber villages, such as Alnif, and arrive in Rissani town. We will visit a traditional market in this town and move to Merzouga desert. Finally, you start your camel trip in the Merzouga desert. You have a night in the camp and enjoy local music with locals around the fire.
 
 

Day 5: Merzouga- Todra Gorges-Dades Valley

In the early morning, you watch a magical sunrise over the desert. After that, you have a shower and breakfast and return by camels. From here, we will drive to Todra Gorges through Rissani town and Erfoud. Thereafter, we make a stop in Touroug village to visit its groves and take pictures with local clothes. Secondly, we stop to visit Todra Gorges. You have enough time there to enjoy the high cliffs and the canyon then drive to Rock Formation. In addition to that, there is a panoramic view of the curvy road of Tissdrine. We finally finish our day in Dades valley for a night in the mountains.
 
 

Day 6: Dades Valley- Skoura-Ouarzazate-Marrakech

We resume our 7 Days tour from Marrakech after breakfast on this day. Hence, we travel towards Kalaat M’Gouna to explore Rose Valley. Locals in the town organize the Rose Festival each year in May and show rose products. There is a chance to visit its rose cooperative and explore an old Kasbah in Skoura. Day 1: Marrakech To Dades Valley

You will meet our local driver at your Riad and travel to Dades Valley. Your traveling will be along the High Atlas Mountain to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. You will take a break here for lunch and visit the Kasbah. The kasbah is home to Thami El- Glaoui who was the former ruler of the Atlas. Further, you visit the famous Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate. After that, our local driver will take us to visit Skoura village and drive to Rose Valley. Here, the Rose Festival is organized each year to celebrate the rose season. You will end your day in Dades Valley and spend a night in Riad.
 
 

Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga

After breakfast, you start your second day of the desert tour. You will leave Dades Valley and drive along with Berber towns and palm three towards Tinghir. In this town, you visit Todra Gorges. It is a popular rock climbing destination. It is characterized by high rocks and valley tree groves. Later, you stop in Touroug for lunch and a visit to a traditional Berber cloth cooperative. From here, you depart to Erfoud and The Sahara of Erg Chebbi. In Merzouga desert, you check into a Riad/Hotel and have a welcoming mint tea. Overnight.
 
 

Day 3: Sahara Desert Tour

Once you have breakfast, you start your desert excursion. It will be a great experience by 4×4 to visit desert areas. Thus, the drive will take you to Khamlia village where there are Gnawa musicians. They will entertain you with their traditional music and drive to another site. In Mifis site, you visit an old work of mines and fossils and other minerals. Afterwards, you encounter nomads in hand-made tents. We will have Berber pizza for lunch then drive back to start your camel trekking trip. The camel trip takes around 1h 30min to reach the camp. There, you have dinner and enjoy music around the fire.
 
 

Day 4: Sahara desert - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate

Day 1: Arrive in Fes

Day 2: Fes City Tour

Thus, you will start with the Quranic schools of Bouanania and the Attarine. They were constructed during the 14th century by the Marinids. Besides, you explore a traditional artwork of wood and ceramic in Najjarine and Seffarine. Later, you walk to the famous Blue Gate and Chaoura Ternary. After you explore all the important tourist attractions in the heart of the Medina, you visit the Marinid tomb up the hill. Finally, you spend another night at the same accommodation.
 
 

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga desert

on the third day of the 5 day desert tour from Fes to Merzouga, we drive along the Middle Atlas Mountains. Hence, we will pass through the Swiss town of Ifrane to Cedar Forest. It is a great chance to take pictures with wild apes and feed them in this forest. Then, we have a local lunch in Midelt and keep our way to Ziz Valley for shooting panoramic landscapes. In Erfoud, you visit the dates fruits market and we drive to Merzouga. In the desert, you ride camels to the heart of the desert of a night under the stars. You will have a delicious dinner and enjoy music beside the campfire.
 

Day 4: Desert – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Starting your day with a magical sunrise view is the best experience. Then we start our journey to Dades Valley after a hot shower and breakfast. Firstly, we stop in Risssani town. It is the original town for the Family of the Alaouite dynasty where they were brought up. We will then stop at Fossil museum in Erfoud and Berber cloth cooperative in Touroug. In Tinghir town (Todra Gorges), you will visit its narrow canyon aside from high rocks for hiking and relaxing. This oasis also attracts climbers and families for picnics. Thereafter, we visit Monkey’s Fingers site or the Rock Formation and spend a night in Dades Valley.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

The last day of our 5 day desert tour from Fes to Merzouga will end up with different discoveries. That is to say, you will have an insight into different attractions and landscapes. Firstly, we stop in Rose Valley. Every April and May, the valley gets full of local women who pick roses. They take the entire outcome to local factories to make rose products. This will be an opportunity to explore rose cooperative. After that, we shift to an ideal point for movies in Ouarzazate. There, we will visit Atlas Studios and visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. The kasbah is among the UNESCO Site and it was built during the 18th century by El Glaoui. This area is a strategic site for movies, such as the previous ones: Jesus of Nazareth in 1977, Time Bandits in 1981 and Marco Polo in 1982, and others. Finally, you experience driving via the Tizi-N-Tichka mountain pass and then reach the imperial city of Marrakech. We will drop you off at your Riad or airport. Day 1: Fes-Ifrane-Ziz Valley-Merzouga

Your driver will meet you at your accommodation to start the 4 Days Desert Tour Fes to Marrakech. On your way to Dades Gorges, you visit Rissani, the original home of the dynasty, then move to a traditional irrigation system in Jorf. Secondly, you stop in Touroug village for lunch and continue your way to Dades Gorges. It is an impressive oasis of high rock where rock climbers meet. Next, you visit the Rock Formations and shift to Dades Gorges for a night.
 

Day 4: Dades Valley- Rose Valley- Ourzazate- Ait Ben Haddou- Marrakech

After a delicious breakfast, you move to Rose Valley. You will visit the valley and explore rose products in the Rose cooperative. You will also learn about the Rose Festival that locals organize each year in May. Moreover, you will be in the Atlas Studious in Ouarzazate and the Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou. Both of these sites attract film producers. Numerous movies have been filmed here before, such as Time Bandits in 1981 and Marco Polo in 1982. You will also walk up the kasbah to discover its rich history. You will finally drive via the Atlas through Tizi n’Tichka mountain road and end the desert tour in Marrakech.   • Itinerary

Day 1: Airport – Accommodation in Fes

Depending on the arrival time of your flight, your Fes Desert Trip will start with a guided tour of Fes. The oldest imperial city in Morocco, founded in the 8th century by Moulay Idriss II.
 

Day 2: Fes-Middle Atlas-Erg Chebbi Desert

After breakfast, we start our Fes Desert Trip towards Ifrane, through hills covered in forests of cork oak and giant cedar, home of a few Barbary apes. Crossing the Middle Atlas with its beautiful mountains we will catch a first glimpse of the South-Est incredible architecture. Lunch in the Midelt (the city of apple). In the afternoon we will drive to Erfoud and into the desert. You will change the 4WD car to the 8WD camel and enjoy a nice ride through the beautiful Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes, where you will spend the evening in a comfortable desert camp. The night is a great opportunity to enjoy the magical starry sky after been entertained by the music of the Berber drums.
 

Day 3: Desert-Ziz valley-Ifran-Fes

We wake up to admire the beautiful sunrise in the Sahara desert and feel the desert breeze. After breakfast, we start our journey back to Fes visiting the Ziz valley, a huge oasis containing over five million palm trees, edged by many Ksours (fortified villages). Lunch in Midelt and then we drive to Ifran (Moroccan Switzerland) where we take a break, also take some pictures. We arrive in Fes at sunset time.
 

Day 4: Guided visit of Fes-End of service

If your flight is not in the morning, we start our guided tour of Fes at 8/9 am with an official guide to discover the UNESCO-protected old Medina. The best way to explore a city that has up to 9,000 roads and alleyways is with an expert. The old Medina of Fes is declared a World Heritage of Humanity in 1981 and is considered the oldest and most beautiful in Morocco. The doors lead us to a tangle of narrow streets and alleyways around the mosque Karaouine. Its university is the oldest in the world. After walking inside the Medina we take the car and drive outside the Medina to explore the unique seven doors of Fez, Royal Palace, then the Andalusian architecture in the Jewish quarter, then our next step will be in the old fort to admire the Panoramic view of the 9400 street of the Medina, visit the pottery and tiles factor. Thus, we transfer you to the airport, train station or your accommodation if you still have time in Fes. End of our 4 days Fes Desert Trip.
