3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga

We will take you on a 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga adventure. Firstly, you visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and Ouarzazate town and have a night in Dades Valley. On the second day, we drive to Todra Gorges and Touroug and head to Merzouga. Finally, you experience a camel trekking trip and drive along the Draa Valley the next day. We will visit Draa Rive and travel to Marrakech via the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Our Marrakech Desert Trip 3 days to Merzouga includes pick and drop off services.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

We will pick you up at 8 am and leave Marrakech through High Atlas Mountain. Thus, we pass by some Berber towns and visit the Argan cooperative. Further, we drive uphill via the curvy road of Tizi N-Tichka pass. There will be a stop for a panoramic view in this mountain pass before we reach Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. The Kabah is a UNESCO site due to its rich history and architecture. Secondly, we move to Ouarzazate also called the Gate of the Sahara. It is the capital cinema where the movies are produced in its Atlas studios. You will visit this attraction and drive to Skoura and Rose Valley. In this valley, you visit the rose cooperative where locals make rose products and prepare for the Rose Festival. Afterward, we move to Dades Valley to spend the first night of our Marrakech Desert Trip 3 days.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

The second day of our Marrakech Desert Trip 3 days offer the best experience in the desert. After breakfast, our driving to Todra Gorges will pass via views of the Dades Valley. Secondly, we stop in the rock oasis of Todra Gorges. There is free time to walk through the high rocks that reach around 300m and view rock climbers. Then, we drive to Touroug and Tinjdad Berber villages. Lunch will be in one of these villages. Moreover, we visit Erfoud and drive to Merzouga. In the desert, you will take a camel ride of 1h and 30min to the camp. Of course, there will be a stop on the top of the dune to watch the sunset and experience sandboarding. Finally, you have dinner and enjoy music around the campfire.

Day 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Marrakech

The last day of our Marrakech Desert Trip 3 days will take a different road to Marrakech. Hence, we continue our trip after breakfast to Draa Valley. In addition to that, we drive along with the traditional towns and stop in Agdze for lunch. Then, we visit the Draa River, the longest river in Morocco. Finally, we drive via the Anti-Atlas Mountains and High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. We will finish our service after we drop you off at your Riad.
