Day Excursions – Essaouira, Ouzoud Waterfalls, Ourika valley, Ouarzazate
Essaouira was built by the French architect in Vauban style it’s influences have given a unique result to the town which became the first trade harbour of Morocco in the late 18th century. With a mild climate, it offers beautiful wild beaches extremely popular with surfers.
This magnificent waterfall (over 100 meters high) is one of the most remarkable natural attractions in the Atlas of Morocco.
Crossed by the Ourika river, this excursion allows you discover the high peaks of the Atlas mountains that surround the valley. Visit the Berber villages on the way. When you arrive in Ourika, you will walk with a guide to a beautiful waterfall in Setti Fatma (optional).
This full day trip will take you across the High Atlas chain through the Tizi N’Tichka pass, an imposing landscape with high mountains and traditional Berber villages. When descending the east side of the chain, the landscape suddenly changes to an arid and desert panorama. In Ouarzazate, visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and the Taourirt kasbah.
